Music-studies section
This section is accessible from the first year of the FIMI department (Core Foundation Engineering Program) and requires prerequisites: 5 years of playing an instrument and 5 years of music theory.

The section offers students the opportunity to pursue a demanding scientific course at INSA Lyon while having the means to continue their musical practice, to progress and to open up to other styles and other arts.
Through training modules taught by teachers recognized on the Lyon scene, the “Ziket” studies and practices music at the same time as his engineering studies.
To support their practice, the student can choose a collective theoretical course from the following themes: singing, musical culture, jazz. In the second year, the training is accompanied by an arts history course.
The student-engineer-musician benefits from equipment and rehearsal studios made available to him to practice his personal practice and develop different musical projects.
